Several of us had questions, most of which we were told would be considered and someone would get back to us, but no one ever did.

It was at that point we decided to host a presentation by Eoin Finn, open to all the public, and dealing with the risks of liquefied natural gas, not just the hypothetical benefits that we had heard from Steelhead.

Finn holds a BSc (chemistry), PhD (physical chemistry) and MBA (international business) degrees. He has spent the past two years researching the safety, climate, environmental and economic aspects of B.C.’s proposed LNG industry.

Steelhead LNG feels these presentations are filled with myths and misconceptions. In light of Finn’s qualifications, just what might these myths and misconceptions be? Steelhead does not elaborate.

Steelhead LNG claims community engagement is important to them, so why did they not attend one of these presentations and question what was said? Or better yet, hold a meeting of their own, where experts on both sides of the issue could speak and the public could ask questions and form their own opinion.
